About Industrial Electric Supply (IES)

Industrial Electric Supply (IES), founded in 1977, has been a privately-owned full line electrical distributor of quality electrical products and material that services the utility, construction, commercial, and industrial markets throughout the Chicagoland Area.

Industrial & Utility Supply, Ltd. acquired Industrial Electric Supply located in Burr Ridge Illinois in February 2019. Industrial Electric Supply has been a supplier to the Electrical, Construction, and Commercial markets for over 40 years. Our commitment to customer satisfaction, well-trained associates, and quality product lines are the cornerstone of our long history.

Why work with a WMBE and DBE?

Through our certifications we can offer more adaptability, flexibility and balance in comparison to non-MBE suppliers. IES offers cost saving strategies due to diversity spend requirements and helps you take advantage of numerous federal and state tax incentives, tax breaks and potential rebates.

As a WBE, the federal government affords tax incentives to those who conduct business with minority and women-owned businesses. Contact us today, to find out more!

“Adding more diversity to a company’s supplier base may allow a business to better weather an economic downturn, deal with labor strikes or shortages, and bring new products to market more quickly because that diversity tends to mean the company is less reliant on a single source.” John Rick Klaras Manager, Small Business Solutions, Dun & Bradstreet
